Spent a sunny Friday at DisneySea taking photos, starting by wandering down the pier that leads to Aquatopia, but now that it’s closed, no one walks down there. It's really quiet. On my walk back into the main area of Port Discovery, I saw Mount Prometheius reflected in the mirrored windows at the Marine Life Institute.
The DisneySea Electric Railway is—I think— the shortest Disney rail line in any park. It runs just between two areas, back and forth, rather than in a loop. Both stations are great, but I love the colors, architecture, and overall style of the Port Discovery station. Just look at it.
The majority of American Waterfront is dedicated to New York, but there’s a sizable portion carved out for Cape Cod.
It is a beautiful, fairly quiet little area of the park. There are no attractions in it, just a shop, a restaurant, and a popcorn cart. The above photo was taken from Hurricane Point Lighthouse, which you see in the photo below.
The 8× zoom on the latest iPhones is incredible. The three smokestacks of the S.S. Columbia are so high up, so far away, but I can see them so clearly now! They look terrific.
I spent a considerable amount of time standing in this next spot, waiting for everyone to walk by, just to make every attempt I could to snap a photo without anyone in it.
