I don’t often draw kanji, but my friend Narumi—who loves horror movies and metal music—told me her stage name when doing music stuff at events is「鳴」(naru, scream) and I couldn’t get it out of my head to draw that kanji in a a style that matches that kind of horror / metal vibe she has.
